Bolt: This is an animated family adventure film about Bolt, a dog actor. On his TV series Bolt is and action super hero. When he is accidentally shipped to New York, he thinks his super powers will get him home. He teams up with, Mittens the cat, and Rhino the hamster, and tries to get back to Hollywood.
Tropic Thunder: Desperate to get more out of his spoiled actors, while filming an epic war Vietnam War film, director Damien Cockburn makes a bold move. He litters the jungle with cameras, plans some diversions, and throws the actors in the jungle on their own to fend for themselves. They think it's only a movie, but soon the bullets coming at the actors are real.
Cul-De-Sac: Macabre comedy in regards to 2 injured gangsters who terrorize middle-aged milquetoast and his gorgeous spouse. Not a total winner, although excellent cast and trendy direction make it a good movie. Cast includes Donald Pleasence, Francoise Dode, Lionel Stander, Jack MacGowrah, lain Quarrier, and Jacqueline Bisset. (111 minutes,'66)
The Dying Gaul: The mourning author of an auto biographical screenplay becomes erotically intertwined with a smooth producer, who offers him 1,000,000 dollars to produce the venture as long as he makes the gay protagonists straight. In the mean time, he becomes spiritually intertwined with the producers spouse, a prior screenwriter turned housewife. Twists, catastrophes, and fine acting mark this brilliant although thick personality research.
